The holiday season is full swing– and for many of us– that means almost endless holiday gatherings.
They’re often full of delicious desserts and tasty comfort food.
That makes staying on track with your health goals a challenge. But it is possible!
“Over-restriction can hurt health goals in the long-run and actually prevent enjoyment of the holidays,” Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan dietician Shanthi Appelö said.
She suggests keeping in mind what a balanced plate looks like. Things like dips and drinks can add up too— so be mindful of those.
