Pacific Oaks College and Children’s School in Pasadena will be hosting a Black Health and Wellness Fair in honor of Black History Month on Saturday, Feb. 19, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Fair will take place at the campus, located at 45 Eureka Street in Pasadena, and will feature information booths, a children’s area, entertainment, and other activities such as fitness demonstrations, games and dancing. Food vendors will also be on site.
It will be a wonderful way for the community to come together and celebrate Black History, Pacific Oaks College said in a statement.
A listing on the Pacific Oaks College website showed the information booths at the Fair will cover COVID-19 resources, a drumming school, a fitness organization, books and literature and a faith-based organization. Entertainment will include singing, praise dancing, drumming and spoken word.
The Black Health and Wellness Fair will take place outdoors, and masks are required for this event. In cooperation with the City of Pasadena and the Pasadena Department of Public Health, Pacific Oaks will be following the COVID-19 guidelines.
