Pillars of Hope Counseling Services will host their first SOAR: Women’s Mental Health and Wellness Symposium on September 10 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Belhaven Acres, 1000 Belfast River Road in Richmond Hill.
The goal of SOAR (Sisters Overcoming Adversity and Rising) is to bring awareness to suicide prevention, and serve women in Bryan County and the surrounding areas of Savannah who suffer in silence and experience ongoing and debilitating mental health concerns.
Mental health professionals and wellness coaches will be on site to provide psychoeducational materials/ resources, and to share necessary tools and techniques for women to live a life of triumph. Local vendors and light entertainment will also be available. All women are welcome to attend.
