The company announced the hiring of three dynamic team members, all bringing forward-thinking approaches to its iconic brands. 
New York, NY (September 8, 2022) – Today, BGPL USA, importer and marketer of Barton & Guestier, Patriarche and Listel in the U.S., announced the appointment of new U.S. team members Christelle Treunov, Jayson Bermond, and Marie Ardignac. The new additions of these young movers and shakers will contribute to expanding the company’s fast-growing presence in the U.S. while bringing new philosophies and styles to its brands.

Christelle Treunov has been appointed Account Development Specialist. As the latest addition to BGPL USA’s New York state team, Christelle oversees sales efforts in the five boroughs, upstate New York and Long Island, with the mission of growing volume and premium distribution hand in hand with the marketing and distribution teams – specifically for the company’s new high-end portfolio including the finest burgundy appellations, Bordeaux Grands Crus, and Château Magnol, the Barton & Guestier flagship. Treunov’s expansive knowledge of French wines and product growth is a complement to BGPL USA’s award-winning portfolio. 
 
Jayson Bermond has been appointed Sales Director Southeast USA. In this role, Jayson manages 15 distributors in six key markets (Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana), ensuring BGPL USA wines are highlighted in all aspects. His responsibilities include  inventory management, forecasting, and coordinating incentive programs for sales teams and accounts. Bermond has held various positions at Château Palmer, Margaux, Les Grands Chai de France and Crus et Domaines de France. His success working with world-renowned wineries uniquely positions him as a Bordeaux market expert throughout Asia, the Middle East, North and South America. 
 
Marie Ardignac has been appointed Marketing Specialist for BGPL USA. In this position, Ardignac manages digital marketing efforts including social media for all BGPL USA brands, the newly-developed BGPL USA website and the landing pages of various retailers for all brands. Marie’s fresh take on the brands allows her to reach new markets and audiences and effectively analyze industry trends.  
Ardignac has been immersed in the world of wine from an early age and since, has gained a plethora of knowledge and skill by obtaining the WSET Level 3 certification with merit and completing a Master’s degree with a focus on wine marketing. 
 
Within BGPL’s portfolio, there has been a notable uptick in sales distribution at popular US retail chains including Sam’s Club, Target, Total Wine & More, Vons Pavilions, Walmart and Whole Foods Market. The popular Sparkling Wine brand of BGPL USA, Veuve du Vernay stands apart in distinction with the recent high performance in sales. Data collected by Nielsen shows the brand has increased in sales by 10%, with its key item, Veuve du Vernay Ice, observing an increase of 29% and Veuve du Vernay Ice Rosé observing an increase of 11%. The addition of the newest team members will continue to catalyze the growth that the brand has seen in recent years.
