DHUN Musical Group of USA held its 2022 season 1 Global virtual concert “Sa Re Jahan Me DHUN” on Saturday March 5, 2022.
The organization founded by Rajeev Singh aims to discover talents which are lesser known and provide them a platform.
Audition rounds with artists across the globe brought “immensely talented” 17 performers, a press release from DHUN said.
Those 17 performers include – Aastha Sachdeva, Ankit Bhola, Lalit Mohan, Tisha Kalra, Udaysinh Solanki and Vansh Babbar. Canada- Richa Saxena, UAE- Rekha Sriram, USA – Amrisha Singh, Bhavisha Patel, Keya Ambashta, Rajani Mishra, Santhosh Jha, Sonit Ambashta, Vasanti Anand, Vignesh Prakash and Sudhaker Raj.
All had practiced for several weeks and put in numerous hours to showcase their talents and entertain DHUN’s global audience, the press release said.
The Concert featured vocal, dance and instrumental performers rendering songs of different genres and styles to an audience which stretched from USA to India, Singapore, Canada, Europe, UAE and many other countries, organizers said.
DHUN’s own Sudhaker and Pratik organized the back-end and technology support “that made this virtual concert unparalleled” according to organizers.
Anubha Raj, Ambrish Agarwal and Jyotsna Sharma provided the running commentary to engage the global audience.
Special guests at the event included Chief Trustee Shri Siddhivinayak Temple USA, and Vice President PRAN-BJANA clinic Dr Geeta Gupta, Dr Anil Singh, president BITSAANA. Zia Baghpati, a well-known shayar and poet from India, as well as Ambrish Agarwal president IFMP and Fire commissioner from New Jersey.
ITV Gold and Parikh WorldWide Media were among key media partners. India Foundation of Metropolitan Princeton (IFMP) was the community partner of this event. The event was also supported by several organizations including Shri SiddhiVinayak Temple USA, BJANA, , IFM, BITSAANA, Light Bridge Academy (South Brunswick, NJ) and Lions club, and Xpress Financial Mortgage Corp.
DHUN announced it will be holding a similar event in the second half of 2022.
The popularity and success of the event called for the next global virtual concert which is targeted during the early 2nd half of this year .
