Dear DePauw Students, Faculty and Staff,
Given the updated recommendations from the CDC and FDA, the COVID-19 Mitigation Team has updated the campus COVID guidelines to include a recommendation for all students and employees to receive a COVID-19 booster shot. For more information from the Indiana State Department of Health regarding boosters, click here. To find a vaccination appointment in Indiana, click here.
In an effort to help us to continue to assess the impact of the virus on our community, please update your records below if you have received a COVID-19 booster.
For Students
For Employees
We hope that you will take the opportunity to access COVID-19 boosters and flu shots in your local community during your travel home for the holidays. As always, the COVID-19 Mitigation Team recommends masking, distancing, daily symptom monitoring and hand washing to protect from COVID-19 as well as other seasonal illnesses, especially during travel.
International Travel Guidance
For those who may be traveling internationally during Winter Break or Winter Term, please be aware that on Dec. 2, the United States changed its testing requirements for incoming international flights. Starting December 6, all air passengers, regardless of vaccination status, must show a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 1 day before travel to the United States. More information is available here and we encourage you to bookmark that page to monitor for any changes to international travel guidance during your time away from campus.
Contact Information during Winter Break
For those students staying on campus during the break, please continue to be vigilant with personal symptom tracking, and choose to stay home and immediately report any symptoms to DePauw Health Wellness Center while the University is open. If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, you should contact DePauw Health Wellness Center at 765-658-4555 to schedule an appointment with a provider. Should you need to find care during a time DePauw Health Wellness Center or DePauw offices are closed, please call DePauw Police at 765-658-5555.
Return to Campus Guidance
We will be communicating with students before the beginning of Winter Break regarding return to campus expectations for spring term. Please be sure to monitor your email for more information.
Best,
COVID-19 Mitigation Team
