ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Mobile clinics and nonprofits are ready to provide various health and wellness services to the Star City community on Tuesday afternoon during CHIP of Roanoke Valley’s “Wellness Rodeo.”
According to organizers, this event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12 in the parking lot of CHIP Roanoke at 1201 3rd Street SW.
CHIP Roanoke says there will be a range of health and wellness resources available for Star City families, including preventative medical care, vaccines, addiction services, housing options, and healthy and affordable food. The Wellness Wagon will also provide Acu-Detox treatments for free.
In addition, organizers say representatives from Lead Safe Roanoke, Bradley Free Clinic, the Virginia Department of Health, Feeding Southwest Virginia, and more will be onsite to help community members.
