The way we work continues to evolve, especially during this phase of the pandemic.
Canon U.S.A., headquartered in Melville, has been addressing the needs of today’s workforce, and to educate its dealers about current and upcoming products, the company has brought back its roadshow events.
Back after a three-year hiatus, the 2022 road shows featured five live events in May and June in Chicago, Irvine, Dallas, Atlanta and Princeton. About 365 people across 99 dealer partners attended.
The events offered media and analysts a chance to learn about Canon’s plans as it continues to support the technological needs of the evolving work environment, whether it’s in-office, fully remote, or a hybrid mix.
The events featured opportunities to showcase products that included a commercial robot vacuum sweeper to help ease the burden of labor shortages.
Also on display was a work-in-progress system that that would help “redefine how people see, engage, and interact in hybrid office environments using a single camera in a meeting space and along with a user interface that can be accessed by remote participants through a web browser,” according to a statement by Canon U.S.A.
“We are pleased with the response of the return of the Canon Roadshow series and the ability to have in-person events again with our dealers for the first time since 2019,” Karin Harrington, Canon U.S.A.’s senior director of dealer sales division, said in the statement.
“These events provide the ability to offer demonstrations, answer questions and solicit feedback from our dealers, and is a key part to strengthening our relationships even further,” Harrington added.
