BizBeat: Wellness center brings local health businesses together – Jefferson City News Tribune

Visitors at the Capital Mall have a new opportunity to improve their health in the new Jefferson City Wellness Center.
The facility, which opened in December, features several health-focused businesses for all your wellness needs, from physical therapy to exercise.
Businesses included in the facility are Studio 573 Fitness, Outbound Physical Therapy & Rehab, J.R. Pain Management Health & Reflexology, and Integrity Therapeutic Massage.
The space has taken numerous forms over the years. Once it was the Capital 4 Movie Theater, and then it was Wilson’s Fitness for a few years. Studio 573 Fitness owner Erin Bidlack then took over the space in 2017 to form her fitness studio, but found herself with plenty of extra room. The large area created an opportunity for similar wellness- focused businesses to come together to form the new center late last year.
Bidlack worked with Jennifer Schneiders, owner of Outbound Physical Therapy & Rehab, to find a space for Schneiders’ expanding business. With extensive discussion and plenty of room to fill, the project ended up growing to include several businesses.
“I had been looking for space to expand, and we began talking about it even before COVID,” Schneiders said. “This has allowed me to double my business and reach patients on both ends of town and in the outlying communities. It just wasn’t convenient for a lot of people on the edge of town, and this makes it much easier for that population to make use of our services.”
Bidlack and other business owners could not be reached for comment.
The center held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house in December with support from the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Carrie Tergin.
The Jefferson City Wellness Center is located at Capital Mall, 3600 Country Club Drive, near Dillards.
