Physical health
Low physical activity is one of the major health issues among doctors due to hectic work schedules. Physical workouts help prevent metabolic diseases such as diabetes and obesity and for managing stress, better flexibility, promotes mental relaxation and to improve cardiovascular fitness. Regular workshops on posture correction (ergonomics) provision to do group exercise classes will also help the doctors. Sports and recreational clubs can also help as stress busters. Above all, a good positive eating will boost health and well-being.

Providing a good variety of fruits and veggies, opting for healthy unrefined and complex carbs, cutting down on sugar and refined oils, reducing the salt content of the food and maintaining an optimum weight. Also giving importance to hydration, for which reminders can be set.

Though many of us consider yoga as a physical form of practice, it has tremendous benefits as a mind-body medicine. Introduction of yoga not only helps us physically, but it will help in improving emotional quotient and mental health.
