BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – If your home, business or non-profit was damaged in the storm, the United States Small Business Administration is in town to help.
They working on disaster relief following last weeks tornadoes that caused damage to thousands of buildings in the area.
The SBA is helping people acquire loans from 1.4% interest to 5.6% interest to aid in the rebuilding of homes, businesses and local non-profits.
If you are interested in applying, you can meet with the SBA at the Greenwood Mall disaster area or at the Small Business Incubator at WKU in the old mall.
“For individuals, their first go to is going to be disasterassistance.gov register with FEMA. FEMA will refer you to the SBA. Fill out your application as soon as possible because there is a deadline. If you are a business owner you can go directly to the SBA,” said Tauheedah Mateen with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The deadline to apply is February 10th.
