The Estes Park Nonprofit Resource Center (EPNRC) has launched a Nonprofit Wellness series. This program calls nonprofit employees from all sectors to a free monthly workshop that focuses on their personal health. Due to the rising costs of health insurance, many nonprofit employees have limited  access to health care that includes more than the standard, yearly checkups and emergency care. This program helps to remind our hard working philanthropists of the truism, “If you don’t care of yourself, you can’t effectively take care of others.”
This program includes instruction by massage therapists, acupuncturists, nutritionists, yoga instructors, life coaches, and more. It is meant to remind nonprofiteers how important habits of wellness are on our tenacity, clarity, and resilience.
The next program is Vision Boards, presented by Julie Abel. Abel says, “This workshop will engage you in life-changing strategies for goal setting! I’ll be teaching step-by-step methods of how to get yourself and your mind in alignment to create your future.” Vision Boards will take place at noon on February 17 at the Estes Valley Library, Hondius Room. Pre-registration is required so Abel knows how much material to bring. Registration closes Feb. 15 and can be done via epnonprofit.org or by calling 970-480-7805.
Thank you to the individual Estes Valley community donors that generously funded this investment in nonprofiteer health and wellness.
