Iberia has announced that, as of June 1, it will begin flying to Dallas, Washington DC and San Francisco, increasing the total number of flights available to the US next summer to 120, according to a statement from the Spanish airline.
In addition to the new Dallas and Washington routes, which Iberia will operate this year for the first time, the airline will also resume operations to San Francisco, offering three flights a week on each of the routes.
For the USA, Iberia also announced a reinforcement of connections to New York, which increase to 14 flights per week; to Boston, which will have daily flights; and Los Angeles, which changes to five flights a week, in an operation that will have more than 120 flights a week to nine destinations in the US, including 14 flights a week to Miami, seven to Chicago and five to Puerto Rico.
In a statement, the airline explains that the bet on the US is due to the fact that this is a “strong market for leisure and business travel”.
“The additional frequencies and new routes in the US show Iberia’s commitment to the vibrant North American travel market during the summer season. Additional destinations and flights to New York, Boston and Los Angeles will increase Iberia flights from Spain to the US to more than 120 per week.
