MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) – The Marietta YMCA is holding a health and wellness fair.
Health departments, non-profits and law enforcement came together to showcase what they offer to the public.
Officials with the health and wellness fair say that this event is a great way for these groups to come together and be able to partner together and show community.
“Coming together with all these organizations, they’re actually making partnerships. They’re coming together. We’re trying to build and grow this health fair so it can be better next year. And that’s what it is all about is coming together, working as a team for our community to make health and wellness awareness for everyone,” says health and wellness coordinator, Melissa Wigal.
There were a total of 25 vendors there.
Some of the groups were offering a number of different services for the crowd like health checks, vaccines, karate demonstrations, and much more.
