In light of recent events, and the challenges that the winter months bring to overall mental and physical health, Macomb County Community Mental Health (MCCMH) is offering free mental health counseling on a first-come, first-served basis at its three locations during the second week of January.
Counseling and resources will be provided each afternoon from 2 until 7 p.m.at the following locations:
Jan. 11 at MCCMH West
6555 15 Mile Rd., Sterling Heights, MI 48312
Jan. 12 at MCCMH North
43740 Groesbeck Highway, Clinton Township, MI 48036
Jan. 13 at MCCMH East
25401 Harper Ave., St. Clair Shores, MI 48081.
In addition, the MCCMH Crisis Center offers support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by phone; call 586-307-9100 to talk to a crisis center counselor.
Macomb County Community Mental Health (MCCMH) provides a wide variety of mental health wellness, treatment and support services to adults and children. MCCMH operates under the direction of the Macomb County Board of Commissioners and the Macomb County Community Mental Health Board.
