NEW PHILDELPHIA — Access Tusc is offering the Bridges to Wellness program to residents of Tuscarawas, Muskingum, Carroll, Washington, Belmont, Coshocton, Guernsey and Monroe counties. Funding is from the Ohio Commission on Minority Health.
Community health workers will work with families to ensure access to services needed such as finding diapers and other baby supplies, finding insurance, choosing a doctor, finding housing, answering pregnancy and parenting questions and more. They are dedicated to providing services in one place and will come to a family’s home, listen to their needs and work with them to create a plan to meet those needs.
For more information on the program, or to become a community health worker for the program, call 234-801-8009 or email paige@accesstusc.org.
ZANESVILLE — The Maysville Local Schools Board of Education will meet in special session at 5 p.m. Tuesday, at the administrative center, 3715 Panther Drive. The purpose is an executive session to discuss personnel matters. This is a date change from previously announced.
