At Lee Health, we are driven by our mission, which is to be a trusted partner, empowering healthier lives through care and compassion. We recognize that we have great opportunities to put our mission in motion in various ways to improve the health and well-being of our community. A great example of this is our “Partners in Wellness” program, which recognizes Southwest Florida communities’ commitment to promoting health and wellness for and among their residents.
To earn this designation, communities commit to engaging their residents through a number of initiatives, including meeting with Lee Health representatives, hosting community-wide education events and health fairs, and connecting residents to health care services. Lee Health is actively working with residential communities throughout Lee County to help them achieve this designation. Earlier this year, Heritage Palms was the first community to meet the criteria to receive the Partner in Wellness designation. Cypress Cove was recently recognized and is the first life plan community to earn the designation.
“Being a Partner in Wellness means your community will have a direct lifeline to health resources,” explains Molly Grubbs, Lee Health community business development representative. “The goal of this program is to provide convenient access to the health and wellness resources and support that helps keep our community active, thriving and engaged.”
Grubbs says the Partner in Wellness team can help communities and their residents:
The Partners in Wellness program brings Lee Health and our compassionate, dedicated experts right into neighborhoods and communities, building trust, stronger connections and healthier lives.
