By: Daily Record Staff January 11, 2022 Sekou “Koe” Murphy, chief financial officer for CCI Health & Wellness, was appointed to the board of trustees for the Horizon Foundation, the largest independent health philanthropy in Maryland. The Foundation leads community change so everyone in Howard County can live a longer, better life.
Murphy is an experienced financial and investment executive. A resident of Howard County, he also serves on the board of advisers for the Howard County Department of Housing and Community Development and as a board member for Heritage Housing Partners Corp.
Previously, Murphy served as chief financial officer for Bread for the City, a FQHC in Washington, D.C., as well as working as a private investor. He holds a bachelor’s of business administration from Howard University and an MBA in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
