Il DIVO star Carlos Marín has died aged 53 in a Manchester hospital.
The Spanish singer fell ill with Covid-19 on December 7 and was placed in a coma earlier this week.
But he was sadly unable to fight off the killer virus and died over the weekend.
Sharing news of his tragic passing, Il Divo said: "It is with heavy hearts that we are letting you know that our friend and partner, Carlos Marin, has passed away.
"He will be missed by his friends, family and fans. There will never be another voice or spirit like Carlos.

While Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli wrote: “Devastated [Marín] passed away.
“We had the best time putting together the first Il Divo performance 17 years ago great voice great man a true passionate Spirit with wicked sense of humor we will miss you so sad.”
Television presenter Lorraine Kelly tweeted: “This is so sad. I had the joy of interviewing Carlos and Il Divo many times over the years.
"He was such a class act.
"Thoughts with everyone who loved him”.
Soprano Justine Balmer tweeted: “So sad to read this. Another pointless Covid death.
"Another angels voice in heaven.
"Rest in peace Carlos Marin.”
The British star tweeted: "Unbelievably sad to hear of the the passing of the lovely @carlosmarin_ a charismatic, charming and hugely talented man.
"A total one off.
"Sending my love to all @ildivoofficial family and friends."

Marín, who lived between Madrid and Mexico, had also been due to perform with his ex-wife Geraldine Larrosa on New Year’s Eve on Spanish state television channel TVE1.
The star and the French-born singer recorded a cover of Bohemian Rhapsody to be aired during a special on Spanish TV. 
The announcement prompted an outpouring of grief from their fans around the world.
One person reacted to the sad news on Twitter: "What devastating news! Carlos was such a huge character, his voice magnificent and so key to many of Il Divo's amazing songs. My sincere condolences to you all. May he rest in peace"
Another fan penned: "Wow can't believe it. Such terrible news. My thoughts and prayers are with all his friends and family"
And one more shared: "OMG I can't believe this sad news, myself and @mrsseags were only at Brighton on Sat 4th December watching their amazing show and Carlos being his usual charismatic self. Our thoughts are with his personal family and his work family at this very sad time"
Sharing the news of his tragic passing from Covid on Twitter this evening, the singing group said: "It is with heavy hearts that we are letting you know that our friend and partner, Carlos Marin, has passed away.
"He will be missed by his friends, family and fans. There will never be another voice or spirit like Carlos.
"For 17 years the four of us have been on this incredible journey of Il Divo together, and we will miss our dear friend.
"We hope and pray that his beautiful soul will rest in peace. With Love — David, Sebastien and Urs."
The foursome had been due to a show in Lisbon and another in La Coruña Spain, which had been postponed until July 15, 2022.
Just days later, they announced a delay to all performances until 2022 down to band "illness" but gave no further details.
In a statement, they said: "Unfortunately, due to illness, the remaining dates for Il Divo’s December 2021 UK tour have been postponed until December 2022. 
"Il Divo are deeply sorry to their fans, but look forward to returning to the road in the new year and seeing you all in the run up to next Christmas."
Illusionist and magician Uri Geller was one of the first celebrities to pay tribute to the Il Divo star.
He shared a photo of himself posing with Marín and one of his bandmates in Wuhan, China.
“Shocking! Carlos Marin Superstar of IL Divo passed away from COVID, ironically we were performing together in Wuhan… RIP Carlos he was only 53,” Uri wrote on Twitter.
Marin’s last Instagram post on December 6 was a photo alongside bandmates David Miller, Sébastien Izambard, Urs Bühler.
He was promoting the band’s For Once In My Life tour after it was postponed due to his illness.
Baritone Marin has been part of Il Divo since 2003, with the group selling more than 30 million copies of their albums worldwide.

Marín – who was reportedly vaccinated against coronavirus – was known to be in a serious condition when admitted to the Manchester Royal Hospital on December 8, but his organs were said to be stable, according to El Espanol.
The music mogul and SyCo founder wrote: "I am finding this so difficult to put into words how I feel right now.
"I am devastated Carlos Marin has passed away. He loved life.
"He loved performing and always had so much appreciation towards the fans who supported the group from day 1.
"Rest in peace Carlos. I will miss you.!"
In June 2006, Larrossa married Carlos Marin in Disneyland, California.
The Cinderella-themed wedding featured a horse-drawn carriage with Mickey Mouse and Minnie on hand.
They had been dating for 13 years, but their marriage only last three. They got divorced in 2009.
It is not clear why Marin and Larrosa decided to get divorced.
Even after they separated, they remained close friends – so close that Marin continued to produce Larrosa's music.
Geraldine Larrosa, better known by her stage name of Innocence, is a Franco-Spanish pop singer.
Marin and Larrosa were dating for 13 years and were married for three, before they decided to separate.
Larrosa was later in a relationship with Sergio Arce Tula from 2011 – 2014.
She has one child, Scarlett Acre Cercede, who was born in 2012.

SIMON Cowell has paid an emotional tribute to singer Carlos Marín after the Il Divo star died from Covid aged 53 in a Manchester hospital.
In light of the singer's tragic deathSimon, who formed Il Divo in 2003, shared a statement expressing his grief to Instagram last night.
The 62-year-old penned: "I am finding this so difficult to put into words how I feel right now.
"I am devastated Carlos Marin has passed away. He loved life.
"He loved performing and always had so much appreciation towards the fans who supported the group from day 1.
"Rest in peace Carlos. I will miss you."

It has been reported that Carlos Marin was vaccinated against coronavirus.
But after falling ill with the virus on 7 December, he was admitted to a hospital in Manchester.
The band had informed the fans about Carlos’ health on December 16.
Carol Marin fell ill with covid on 7 December.
By 8 December, Marin was known to be in a serious condition when admitted to the Manchester Royal Hospital.
He was later placed in a medically induced coma.
Marin had been in the intensive care unit and was intubated after having his oxygen "compromised".
Il Divo was put together by Simon Cowell in December 2003.
The music mogul put on an international search for singers that lasted almost three years before final member David Miller was signed to the group.
They've sold 25 million records worldwide and are the only crossover classical music act to have reached the top spot in America, after their third album Ancora went to number one on the US Billboard 200.
The band's name translates from Italian as "the star".
After falling ill with Covid Carlos was taken to the Manchester Royal Hospital on 8 December. El Espanol reported that although he was in a serious condition his organs were stable.

Carlos was a Spanish baritone who rose to international prominence when he joined classical music quartet Il Divo in 2003.
Prior to finding fame alongside Urs Bühler, David Miller and Sébastien Izambard, Carlos released his first album when he was just eight-years-old.
Although he was born in Germany, Carlos was raised in Madrid after moving to the Spanish capital when he was 12.
As well as appearing on a number of Spanish television contests, Carlos starred in musicals including Les Misérables and The Beauty and the Beast.
Carlos married French-Spanish singer Geraldine Cerceda Larrosa, stage name Innocence, at Disneyland in 2006. They divorced three years later.
