High-level report launch: The gender pay gap in the health and care sector – World Health Organization

The International Labour Organization and the World Health Organization joined forces to produce the most comprehensive global evidence on gender pay inequalities in the health and care sector. The report, The gender pay gap in the health and care sector: a global analysis in the time of COVID-19, will be launched at a dedicated in-person side event at the UN High Level Political Forum to drive worldwide commitment to integrated policy action for gender equality, decent work and economic growth and good health and wellbeing.  
The high level launch event will take place at UN Headquarters in New York on 13 July 2022 from 18:00 – 19:15 EDT, with light refreshments to follow.
For those unable to attend in person, UNTV will carry a  live broadcast, and the recording will be shared following the event.
The event is co-sponsored by the Government of Canada; Permanent Mission of Costa Rica to the United Nations; Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Permanent Mission to the United Nations; Government of Spain; International Labour Organization; World Health Organization; and United Nations Foundation.
