To the editor:
Hi, my name is Spencer Hoffman and I am currently working on my senior project, which also acts as an Eagle Scout project. The project consists of finding the graves of deceased Lake Placid Volunteer Fire Department members and placing a grave marker plaque that will memorialize their service and thank them for their commitment to the community. If you know a deceased friend and/or family member who served in the LPVFD, and you feel that they should be recognized with a plaque, please contact us at lakeplacidvfd@gmail.com. If you do not wish to have a plaque placed on their grave, please let us know.
