NorthWest Senior and Disability Services offers health and wellness programs that help people stay healthy, improve health or manage a health condition.
These programs include: Tai Chi Moving for Better Balance; the National Diabetes Prevention Program; and Stanford’s Chronic Disease Self-Management Program.
The HOPE Senior Peer Mentor Program is also available for those who are 50 or older and wish to gain more effective coping skills to help manage mild to moderate depression and anxiety caused by life or isolation; chronic illness, a disability or end-of-life concerns; family problems, caregiving stress or loss; and difficulty adjusting to change or constant worry.
