Shape Up US and Legacy Foundation is hosting the Conquer Ninjas Gyms Health and Wellness Expo this weekend at Bell Bank Park near Queen Creek.
The expo is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 19 at Bell Bank Park, 1 Legacy Drive in Mesa.
Shape Up Us Health and Wellness Expos are leading a national movement to improve the health of our communities by stemming the tide of heart disease and obesity by educating communities on healthy eating and living. Shape Up Us expos have been hosted in dozens of cities throughout the nation going back to 2009. Each Health and Wellness Expo is designed to promote mind and body wellness, create awareness and educate the public about the prevention of heart disease, all while providing a day of fun for the entire family.  
As a featured attraction at the expos, Shape Up Us has partnered with Legacy Obstacle Course Racing, the nation’s No. 1 Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course. Legacy Obstacle Course Racing is an EPIC ninja warrior style obstacle course for youth ages 5-17. Participants will run, jump, crawl, climb and swing for approximately 1.25 through 10 signature obstacles       
All 100% of donations will sponsor a teacher, school or district to receive The Hip Hop Healthy Heart Program for Children Curriculum. The first K-6th grade World-Class Online Digital Social Emotional “Whole Child” Wellness Curriculum that impacts education, health and financial wellness. We are “Building A Culture of Health” into our school's e-learning platform and directly into our homes, said Jyl Steinback, executive director of Shape Up US, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
