The Beauty & Wellness Expo makes its way to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre beginning on August 11. Open to the public for three days, the fair takes place in tandem with four other events, including the Hong Kong International Tea Fair and the International Conference of Modernization of Chinese Medicine (ICMCM) & Health Products.
This year marks the sixth edition of the Beauty & Wellness Expo, where exhibitors will showcase their latest products, such as organic health supplements, home fitness equipment and gym products.
A number of panel discussions, as well as workshops, will touch on wellness trends as well as the latest technology in the beauty and fitness realm.
Hong Kong China Bodybuilding & Fitness Association will be among those taking the stage at the event, while experts in areas of sleep, spinal health and skincare will be on hand to share the latest trends and findings in their respective fields.
Those who make their way to the fair can also stop by the 8th HKTDC Home Delights Expo, taking place at the same venue during this period. Exhibitors with the latest technology in at-home fitness and wellness equipment will showcase their products to the public.
And for those keen to explore the latest discoveries in traditional Chinese medicine, academics from around the world and mainland China are set to attend ICMCM to share their latest findings. Some speakers who will be at the event include professor Yung-Chi Cheng and professor Henry Bronson Professor of Pharmacology and Medicine at Yale University, who will be speaking on the future of blending Chinese and Western medicine. There will also be talks about applying herbal medicine to treat various diseases and illnesses.
