Leading real estate developer SM Development Corporation (SMDC) recently brought together a total of 50 doctors and volunteers to provide 723 free medical, dental services and vision care to indigent Bulakeño patients in Marilao, Bulacan.
The Good Guys Health and Wellness Caravan provides comprehensive health check and wellness care to communities where SMDC developments are located.
This year, SMDC’s project and volunteer partners include SM Foundation Inc., SM Supermalls in Marilao and Baliwag, Philippine Red Cross as well as local government agencies.
Beneficiaries were able to freely avail various services such as medical checkup, dental extraction, vital signs monitoring like blood pressure checkup, and the basic diagnostic examinations that include blood chemistry.
On top of the medical and dental services, beneficiaries also received free eye checkup and eyeglasses. Thousands of free medicines and other health supplements were likewise given during the caravan.
Anchored on the belief that people living in secure and health environments makes a happy community, SMDC continues its commitment as another health and wellness caravan is slated on last week of this month.
Communities in Baliwag will have access to free health services through SMDC’s Health and Wellness Caravan on April 27 in SM City Baliwag from 8AM until 4PM. Jun David
