OSU continues to rise in US News and World Report Best Colleges rankings – Oklahoma State University

Oklahoma State University improved its standing as a top 100 public school in the latest U.S News and World Report’s Best College Rankings list released this week. 
In the category of Best National University, OSU tied for 182nd out of nearly 440 schools, both public and private — five spots higher than 2021 (No. 187). As a Top Public School among national universities, OSU tied for 91st — up from No. 96 in 2021. 
In the category of Best Value schools, OSU earned a ranking of 179, claiming the top spot for a public university in Oklahoma. 
In the Best Colleges for Veterans category, OSU remained at 121st.
The biggest improvement for the university came in the undergraduate overall computer science program ranking which moved up 13 spots from 2021. The program is now tied at 141st. 
OSU’s Spears School of Business tied for 73rd in the undergraduate business school ranking rising from 84th in 2021. 
For graduate program rankings, OSU’s engineering doctoral program ranked best in the state, tied for 94th nationally. 
Also, OSU ranked in the top 240 national universities for ethnic diversity of its student body population.
U.S. News and World Report is the global authority in education rankings. In its 38th year, the rankings assessed an all-time high of 1,500 U.S. bachelor’s degree-granting institutions on 17 measures of academic quality.
